Isa 58:6-12 …(6) Is
not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to
undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye
break every yoke? (7) Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that
thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the
naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own
flesh? (8) Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine
health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before
thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward. (9) Then shalt thou call,
and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If
thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the

This is our introduction to
what we hope will be a
growing relationship with
those of you with a heart
for the hurting and us, who
are ready and able to reach
out to so many.
Most of us have led
sheltered lives and are far
removed from the pain,
suffering, and desperation
many individuals and
families experience on a
daily basis. There are many
good people living under
bridges or incarcerated
because they fell on tough
times. Often people
are so overwhelmed by
circumstances with few or no
options. Love in
Action Ministries is here to
help, addressing their
spiritual, physical, and
emotional needs.

How many of us have sought
shelter only to discover
that our family has to be
split up …that is if there
is any room available at
all?
-
How many of us have sought
assistance with payment of
necessities ….utilities or
rent only discover that by
the time you jump through
all of the governmental
hoops, it is too late?
-
How many of us have had to
experience hearing our
children or siblings who
are crying because they
are hungry?
The answer …not many.
Yes, many have experienced
budget pinches or temporary
setbacks, but there are
those who are on or beyond
the brink disaster.
Much of the available help
is distributed based on
stringent guidelines, rules,
and regulations created by a
governmental or other
agencies. They must operate
within certain criteria …
though the people genuinely
need help …any variance will
prevent them from getting
help.
Herein lays the weakness of
the system. It helps those
who know how to work the
system and leaves those who
honestly need help to the
wolves. The Body of Christ
is the God ordained source
for assisting those who are
in need, not any
governmental authority.
Many deserving individuals
and families are slipping
though the cracks. See the
vision,
which includes two vital
aspects.
Whether you are an
individual, church or a
ministry, you are called to
reach out to those who are
in need. While we agree you
should focus on the call God
has on your life, consider
partnership with Love in
Action Ministries, thereby
having at your disposal the
tools to help those in your

assistance.
