CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST

2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but
Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I
live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself
for me. KJV
The Father chooses the bride –pays a
price creating a covenant with Himself …then comes the betrothal.
The adoption and the marriage were arranged before the foundation.
Traditionally the Father of the Groom chooses the bride –pays a
price creating a covenant with Him. The man and woman then become
betrothed.
Eph
1:5 AMP For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us)
to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ,
in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him
and was His kind intent]--
After the bride has been chosen, the
Father pays an agreed price for her. In our case, the Father paid
the ultimate price – His only Son. Along with payment, there was a
written agreement detailing the commitment and rights of the
parties, which began the betrothal.
The young man then leaves and goes to
prepare a place for her in his father's house. She remains behind
readying herself for married life. When the Father says it is time,
He will return to receive her into the place He has prepared.
John
14:2-3 AMP In My Father's house there are many dwelling places
(homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going
away to prepare a place for you. And when (if) I go and make ready a
place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself,
that where I am you may be also.
In this piece,
the bride has yielded herself to Christ; here she is basking in the
glory of God. She is crucified with Him nevertheless, she lives.
(see Gal 2:20) She has been raised with Christ to a new life sharing
His resurrection from the dead – her new –real life is hidden with
Christ with God. (read Col 3:1-4 AMP). She as with unveiled face
beholds Him as in a mirror. She is being transformed into the image
of the Lord. She has made a divine exchange –her veil for His veil
–instead of being separated from Him she has become separated unto
Him. The veil then takes on the characteristics and symbolism of the bridal veil. It is symbolic of
–being spoken for. It is a mantle of purity signifying that no one
else has access to the secret places of our heart (read 2 Cor 3:16-18)
The light has shown forth and she shall manifest the majesty and
glory of God. (read 2 Cor 4:6)
Col
3:1-4 IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus
sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich,
eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the
right hand of God. [Ps 110:1.] And set your minds and keep them set
on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on
the earth. For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died,
and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ,
Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the
splendor of His] glory. AMP

Cor 3:16-18 But whenever a person turns [in repentance] to the Lord,
the veil is stripped off and taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit,
and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation
from bondage, freedom). [Isa 61:1,2.] 18 And all of us, as with
unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God]
as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being
transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and
from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord
[Who is] the Spirit. AMP

Cor 4:6 For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has
shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the
illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it
is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus
