THE BIRTHING PROCESS BECOMES A WAY OF EASE FOR YOU!! August 12, 2000 …Glenda Wilson 

This morning I was thinking about the similarities of the heart cries and endeavors of myself and one of my friends. I was reading some other things I had written. Particularly, a vision I had about us being the tent or tabernacle. Excerpt: He has reinforced our cords so that they can be stretched. We can stretch out into areas that we never could have dreamed, because it is no longer us, but Christ in us –Christ who had the Spirit without measure.

The Lord began to speak about the parallel of the natural and spiritual birthing process. He was saying the first few children may seem tough, but before long, we will become PROS at birthing ministries and outreaches.

As he was saying this, I remembered the promise in Isaiah 54:1, (paraphrased) great shall be the number of your spiritual children, oh desolate and abandoned one. Since your spiritual children will be great in number, you must enlarge the capacity or size of your tent, and then be ready to extend your boundaries or territory. For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is his name; the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. Actually, years ago He spoke the whole chapter to me at a time when I was feeling grieved and forsaken.

His Spiritual and Natural Parallel Birthing Analogy:  Once a woman has borne and delivered one child, she is stretched. As she matures she, can more easily carry and bear larger children. The labor is neither as long nor as as hard as it once was. Her body becomes acclimated ...she begins to learn to flow with the order of things that come with birthing.  She begins to overcome the sense of impatience and realizes that there is a time and season for the child to come forth. She begins to realize that the waiting is a time of preparation for her and the child that will come. Her tolerance and strength for carrying and birthing becomes limitless; the second and subsequent babies become easier. She looks forward to the reward of seeing the miracle of birth...seeing the child grow in the likeness of the Father.

At some point, the ability to carry and deliver natural children ends because of the physical weariness and age of the women’s body. However, in the spiritual realm there is no end because there is no limit of time and strength in the spiritual realm, when His spirit does it. The more children that are birthed, the more built in babysitters there are. Experienced mothers (mentors) teach their children to expand their horizons and abilities to bear children and thus begin a birthing process of their own. Our Maker is our Husband and a fertile Husband is He.

For the Lord says, I am looking for people who will make their profession and confession birthing my will, my dreams, my visions, my outreaches, and my next generation. Many become weary before the real multiplication begins. It really begins with the 2^nd Generation. May it become for you like Isaiah 66:7-14

"Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son. Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet, no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children. Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery? Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery? Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her. For you will nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; You will drink in her overflowing abundance."

For this is what the Lord says: " I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of the nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem. When you see this, your heart will rejoice and you will flourish like grass; the hands of the Lord will be made known to his servants, but his fury will be shown to his foes."
